Matt + Samantha { in love }

Last week my husband and I moved house. We moved from Springfield Lakes into a house on a bit of acerage in Munruben. Inspired by my new relaxed, more country lifestyle, I decided to do a promo photoshoot at one of my new locations. When I put up a post asking for couples, families etc. I had quite a few emails but Samantha got in quick and snagged herself a couples shoot!

I decided to get Lisa from Vintage Secrets on board and we mad it a beautiful vintage styled shoot by the lake. My parents are blessed enough to have a gorgeous horse property that over looks a lake in Jimboomba just 10 minutes down the road from my new house, so we used that stunning location to capture these amazing photos.

I am very pleased with the results! Matt + Sam were a delight to photograph. They are very clearly in love and they are not hiding it. Sam was beaming the whole shoot and their love just radiated. They were a photographers dream! Lisa brought along such beautiful props. I loved that she even brought a vintage badminton kit! I hope you love the photos as much as I do :D

Thank you Lisa for your beautiful prop and styling. And thank you Sam & Matt for being the most perfect couple to photograph!

Freddie + Kerri-Ann {Engaged}

Early in May I travelled up to Griffin near North Lakes to capture a beautiful engagement shoot. Kerri-Ann & Freddie contacted me in regards to wedding photography after seeing me capture their friends (Scott & Zoe) wedding. Kerri-Ann & Freddie wanted some beautiful shots they could use for save the dates and that included their labrador puppy 'Rafiki'. Naturally I was very excited so I jumped at the chance to photograph this beautiful couple and their gorgeous puppy!

Kerri-Ann & Freddie are getting married in December in the ever amazing Maleny. Fingers crossed they pick us to photograph their wedding too!

I hope you enjoy the photos

{ Jacinta + Chris } 5th of April 2014

I met Jacinta back in 2000. We were 10 years old (well I was still 9 actually) and we met on the school bus. We both started going to Ipswich Girls' Grammar that year and since we were the only two that age we became best little bus buddies. Throughout our 7 years at IGGS we remained friends but found different friendship groups and after school unfortunately drifted apart. Thanks to social media though we were both still connected and I got to see how her life unfolded in the years after school. I saw that she welcomed beautiful twin boys into the world a few years ago and then that she started a relationship with the brother of girl we went to school with and then eventually Jacinta contacted me. The relationship had turned into an engagement and Jacinta was set to marry the love of her life, Chris. Jacinta & Chris managed to plan a beautiful wedding in just over 3 months!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I got to her ceremony location. It was a beautiful backyard wedding and the attention to detail was incredible. A stunning wedding arbour had been made in that time and decorated with gorgeous silk flowers. A hessian aisle ran between chairs decorated with purple chiffon bows, tree stumps with little jars of flowers and hand-made crochet wedding bells. Off to the side there sat a bunch of straw hay bales with cloth draped over them and they were arranged around a bonfire set to be lit in the evening. The reception was to be held under a marquee roof lined with purple and white lanterns and guests were treated with an extensive candy buffet with all of the best kinds of sweet delights.

Jacinta wore a dress she designed and had made by Melina Holloway of 'Damsel in the Dress'. It was made with vintage silk and lace and it was a truly stunning gown. The bridesmaids were adorned in Jacinta's favourite colour of purple and each held a white and purple bouquet of fresh flowers in contrast to Jacinta's bouquet of entirely purple flowers. Jacinta also wore sandals she DIY decorated which perfectly suited her outdoor theme and her perfume was Vera Wang's 'Princess Night'.

I hope you enjoy this beautiful outdoor country wedding as much as I enjoyed photographing it.
